TwinEU Final conference brings together Europe’s digital twin community

The key players shaping the digital twin landscape in Europe’s energy sector will come together in Brussels on 10 December 2026, as TwinEU hosts its closing event. Bringing together representatives from industry, research, European initiatives and energy-sector organisations, the event will provide a platform to exchange perspectives, showcase the project’s main results and discuss the future of digital twins in Europe’s electricity system.

After three years of collaboration and innovation, TwinEU is approaching its conclusion. The event will feature discussions around some of the key topics shaping the digitalisation of Europe’s power grids. Experts will exchange views on the federation of digital twins and the role of energy data spaces, the implementation of AI in digital twin solutions, and their applications in electricity markets, flexibility management and system planning. The programme will also look at the challenges ahead, identifying recommendations and opportunities to build on the foundations established by TwinEU.

Beyond presenting the project’s achievements, the closing event will provide an opportunity to connect TwinEU’s results with ongoing European initiatives and broader developments in the energy sector, exploring how digital technologies can support a more resilient, efficient and interconnected electricity system.

Join us in Brussels and be part of the discussion!
