TwInsider SHORTS – the webinar series of TwinEU starts its second season in September. In four 30-minute sessions the project will showcase its demo outcomes in Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Iberian peninsula.
This season will take off where the previous one has finished: focusing on concrete results, lessons learned, and practical outcomes from the field. On 10th September the session will put the spotlight on Spain and Portugal, showcasing digital twin solutions for a more resilient system. The 2nd session will remain in the Mediterranean area, focusing on the Italian Demo, taking place in Sardinia and Rome, with use cases for digital twins on system stability and design validation.
In October, we’ll travel to Hungary to see how virtual sensors can provide further coverage for dynamic line rating and cross-borde market optimalization. The season will be finished with the demo ikn Bulgaria, where the digital twins are developed to cope with high level of distributed energy resources and flexibility needs.
All these use cases are developed to support the main objective of TwinEU: the concept of a federated digital twin of the European power system. If you wonder how each demo is linked with that goal, take part in the sessions and prepare your questions for the Q&A.
