The digital triangle of data, AI and digital twins were at the focal points of the sessions TwinEU participated at ENLIT 2025. This year’s edition took place in Bilbao, Spain providing a platform for th European smart energy scene for its annual get-together.
During the 3 days between 18-20 November, TwinEU presented itself with a booth at the EU Project Zone, welcoming interested attendees from all over the sector: representatives of industry players, other EU-funded projects, TSOs and DSOs, and researchers.

The project partners played an active part. On day 2 of ENLIT TwinEU’s Italian Demo leader Daniele Porcu from ENEL participated in the session on AI, bridging artificial intellignece technologies with digital twins. In parallel Massimo Bertoncini (Engineering) took part in final event of the fellow EU project Data Cellar.
Furthermore, TwinEU technical coordinator, Ilias Zafeiropoulos (UBITECH Energy) participated in the side organized by the EU DSO Entity on their new project, DSO4DT. This project is to build capacity and set the common ground for digital twins used by the European system operators, therefore alignement between the two projects is crucial.
